Volunteers and Supporters

The LEDC could not have obtained these successes and accomplishments without the tremendous support of the community volunteers who have dedicated their time, creative ideas and much enthusiasm in helping the Lansdowne Central Business District re-invent it self and prosper. The Board of Directors is most appreciative of all of the volunteer efforts. The Board of Directors also very much appreciates the support it receives from all of its partners and local, regional and state officials. Thank You.

Financial Highlights

The LEDC is an independent self-sufficient entity that generates earned revenues from events and other community activities and receives grants from private foundations and government agencies. The LEDC also relies on contributions from corporations and individuals. The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development and Lansdowne Borough provided initial start-up grants to hire a full time Main Street Manager and begin the program. These start-up grants ended in 2009.
