Meet Our New Market Manager

May 25, 2017

After more than a decade of being operated solely by volunteers, the Lansdowne Farmers Market now has a Market Manager. Please join us in welcoming Joe Sanders. Joe is the Director of the Office of Information Technology (OIT) at Rutgers University-Camden where he spends his days leading the effort to provide state-of-the-art technology in RU-Camden’s classrooms, network, computer labs, and IT help desk. Joe is also a very active as a volunteer in support of RU-Camden’s Office of Civic Engagement.

Living in Secane, Joe and his wife Helen have 6 children/stepchildren, the youngest being Sarah who is a student at Temple University. Joe has been a frequent customer of and volunteer at the Lansdowne Farmers Market. He is a team builder and works well under pressure (22 years of military service certainly help!). Joe says he wanted to be the Market Manager because he loves people, loves the Lansdowne Farmers Market, and loves Lansdowne!

Please stop by the Manager’s Tent on Saturday and say hello to Joe!
